Which group would suit me best?

RUAlive want to help the local community to feel alive by escaping into the beautiful trails.

Whether you are thinking of doing a “couch to 5k” or push your elevation and distance boundaries to a 10k, 15k, 21.1k or “wish to be” ultrarunner in a fun/supportive way.

You can change your mind at the meet time if you:

  • want to chat to friend who is doing a different group this week.
  • have had one of those days and either want to beast yourself or just do 3k and go for a drink.
  • are coming back from injury/illness and need to take it easier.
  • have any other reason for doing so:)


If we are not catering for your needs then please speak up to one of the regulars and we will try and resolve it.

Below are the main groups that will be on offer but as said in the previous section you can do less or more if you want, you just need to ask.

Also there will always be a road run option during the winter months and a mountain bike option whenever you want to join!!!
